Hey Esther. A by the way: would love to meet your family, and not just to use their oven! If they are interested in meeting me, just tell me what to do. What part of town do they live? We could be close!

Glad you are well. Thinking of you and our Kimchi picnic in the park in Springfield with your parents every time I eat it here.

hey there. 3 months, wow, thats pretty cool.

ive also been reading a book called "organic church", i think you would like it. it reminds me of what you are doing, being the light to others.. i will most likely write about it later on my blog. oh yah, im going back to xanga as my blog since its easier for me to use (im not that savy or patient with blogs..)

i write mainly to encourage you on your decision about talking to the opposite sex.. wow, i thought i would never say this , but yes, it can be a hindrance too. i guess there is a time in our lives when those things can seem innocent but at my age, i know that for the sake of others i need to keep my distance. even if it is for encouragement, get another lady to be there with you if your having to minister to other men that are my age (25 and older).. the kids and teenagers probably do need it more since they see you as a grownup and rolemodel or big sister.

i will pray for you essie, that is probably better than me saying anything.. just wanting to share.. miss you and love you!

That sounds very encouraging, Esther. We are praying for you and the others...please never hesitate to ask for what you need, tangible or intangible.

Esther...that's so cool! I recently broke out my bike too...there is something so simple and childlike about it that is exceptionally relaxing and appealing.

I just decided last week about Korea...very spur of the moment...H told me about the possibility on a Sunday and I had committed by Wednesday...anyhoo...VERY EXCITED...I will probably get a chance to meet the fam...will see how it goes when I get there.

I am glad the book was inspirational to you. It was to me as well, but something kept bothering me about it (the friend who recommended it to me kept saying, "so what do you think". We discussed the pros and cons of the book, then she connected me to this website that had some important points to make about the book in light of the teaching in the Bible; here are a couple: http://www.9marks.org/partner/Article_Display_Page/0,,PTID314526%7CCHID598014%7CCIID2414210,00.html and

I think that they deserve consideration. Jenette.
